Terrain¶

Ground is not a flat surface with decoration on top.

Height, slope, wetness, surface color, and light all shape what a place asks from you. A low patch may hold water. A steep line may cost more than a longer way around it.

Inspect can isolate these signs without changing the land itself. Use it when the eye needs help separating slope from shade, wetness from color, or height from distance.

Read terrain before committing travel, gathering, or water searches.
