Inspect¶

Inspect is a way to narrow attention.

The world holds more signs than the player can use at once. Inspect helps focus on terrain, water, plants, tracks, or known ground so a decision can be made with less noise.

Use Inspect When¶

• a route crosses uncertain ground
• water or plants may be nearby
• tracks suggest local movement
• the map shows signs you have not learned yet
